Join us for a two-hour walking tour that explores more than Times Square or “The Edge” and see the city through the eyes of a New Yorker. You will visit some of Manhattan’s most famous neighborhoods, significant landmarks, and lesser-known sites. You will learn how New York has evolved from its humble origins in the 1600s to its emergence as the country’s first Capitol and how its influence and importance helped shape the United States and the culture we know today.
Along the way, we will share New York’s connections to history’s most significant events and how NYC influenced some of America’s most famous figures, from George Washington and Alexander Hamilton to JP Morgan, the Vanderbilts, and others.
